If I didn't know better, I would not have guessed that the male voice was computer generated. The inflection sounds just like someone reading the book. I used to use the Kindle's text to speech feature before they removed the speaker, while driving or doing dishes, and that was just the standard robotic voice. This is fantastic, though I agree with another comment that buying it for the normal price is a bit odd.
