I have some github projects. I deny/delete all PRs and delete all issues, sight unseen. Been there before on other projects, don't want to deal with that toxin again. Any email received regarding the code is deleted and the sender blocked. It is the only way to maintain sanity. In the same way that you do, I have a couple of github accounts under pseudonyms that I will make some drive-by commits from (usually bug fixes) to other open source projects that I don't want to be connected with. As you say, life's too short.
- acomjean 4y agoI’ve only made a couple bug fixes I found to open source things. One was a pull request (the other was a jist so I left a comment and it was fixed). I was respectful and things went well. They were minor fixes but I felt they’d be useful to others. But reading this comment I feel like I got Lucky I wasn’t ignored. Is there is some other way to report these issues back?
