Have you checked Upwork? I’m sure you know firmware is tougher to do remotely than pure software because you generally need to ship/receive hardware and it opens the hiring company to more risk. Could you do something low-level but doesn’t require shipping specific hardware such as codecs or drivers for common hardware? Or 3D modeling?
