Hey, Thanks for pointing this out.
Currenlty I am using window.location.replace to update the URL field, which doesn't add to history and just replaces it, and on my Chrome browser my history is not bombarded with history like you showed. Previously I was using window.history.pushState, which would pollute the history in a bad way.
Is the browser in the picture EDGE? Would appreciate any suggestions!
- sphars 4y agoThe screenshot I shared was in Firefox 109.0b8 (FF Dev edition). Same behavior is being done in Vivaldi (Chromium-based browser) as well: https://gfycat.com/SlimyPlainBlackandtancoonhound https://gfycat.com/SlimyPlainBlackandtancoonhound Edge does not seem to have the issue.
