Ask HN: Do you connect your TV to the internet directly?
Just curious if there is a compelling reason to do so that I'm unaware of.
- PaulHoule 4y agoAndroid TV has a pretty good UI to watch Netflix, YouTube, etc. When my son’s friend came over they had a lot of fun watching it
- emocin 4y agoabsolutely not, i dont need yet another device spying on me. i dont use any of the built in apps, i have an apple tv for that.
- emocin 4y agoalso tvs love to pump ads into the UI now, and i refuse to allow that
