This story reeks. It’s extremely difficult to believe that there was “intense legal wrangling” as the article claims.
Odds are that SBFs lawyers offered to waive extradition in exchange for the government not opposing bail, and the government immediately agreed. Why would there have been any wrangling?
- danielfoster 4y agoI agree. It’s just a rehash of things already known and reported on with absolutely zero additional information or even an attempt at research. This is probably a better example of a “win-win” compromise than intense legal wrangling. The NYT seems to care more about Wordle than actual reporting.
