- ggm 4y agoThe history of kiwi is fascinating. It's Australian, named for the company directors wife who came from NZ. Subsequently taken worldwide with factories throughout the empire. Cherry, Shinola and Nugget came after. This kind of high gloss polish was an aus invention taken to the world. Dubbin is much more prosaic. As is mink oil.
