I only moved to 10 this year as 7 was not supported to take a proctored exam.
I want no part of the store, have disabled it, and have been able to install everything I want without it, even Windows Terminal and WSL.
I'm not sure why I would ever allow it on my machine.
- Eisenstein 4y agoIf you want to use the nvidia control panel with the latest drivers or update the firmware on an xbox controller you need the store. So, gaming, essentially is why you would need it. If you don't care about that then I think it is pretty useless.
- PrimeMcFly 4y agoYou can't install nvidia drivers without the store, really?
- Eisenstein 4y agoYou can install the drivers but the control panel with all the useful features is a UWP app.
