I think most austrian people don't do that because of the language barrier (slovakian/german) and the fact that you can live quite cheaply in some areas in vienna where you need just 20-30 minutes to the city centers while a bus or train to bratislava will take you about an hour. But there are quite a lot slovakian people who work in vienna and live in bratislava.
