Ask HN: Is a blog post containing code show-HN-worthy?
I blog (mainly about Emacs, sometimes about JS, PostgreSQL and other things) weekly. Sometimes (like today) I have some actual, runnable, useful code (even if very short). Is it ok to post a blog post with such code as "Show HN"?

- ThrowawayR2 4y agoThere's a guidelines page for "Show HN" submissions, https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html, and it says that blog posts generally should be normal submissions instead of Show HN"s.
- mbork_pl 4y agoI've read it, but it also said that code submissions are kosher, hence my question.
