Most countries in Western Europe and South America (that I know of) have stopped using checks at least 10 years ago.

  And Baltic countries (like Lithuania) never used checks at all - now it's only instant and free SEPA bank transfers.

  25 I’d say. I stopped using cash 10-15 years ago. I mean entirely, no exceptions.
