So fascinating how quickly things change. Only 150 years ago lobster was the food of the poor in the UK.

- denton-scratch 4y agoAnd in UK. Back in the sixties, in my fairly well-off bourgeois family, chicken was a rare treat. And even now, not all chicken is cheap; I don't know how much poulet de Bresse costs in France, but it's pretty pricey here.
