If my master password is compromised, do I want all my other passwords to be compromised too?! Or have I misunderstood what "deterministic" means?
- not_your_vase 4y agoFrom their github page: >So as long as you have your MSK, all of your passwords (past, present and future) can be recovered. Uhhh... yeah.
- goodSteveramos 4y agoThe master key is only ever entered into the local software on your computer so its as secure as any other password manager without the risk of someone recovering the passwords from an unwiped hard drive and the ability to recover them without access to your hard drive.
