I can't see how this would remind you of 2008. What's the similarity?

  You can't see how a decrease in home sales relates to 2008, a crisis where one of the primary drivers was people underwater on their houses, because they had lost value because they couldn't sell them. Someone keeps telling me that water and ice are related but I just don't see it. They aren't literally the exact same thing! How could they be related? Clearly bullshit.

    Like 2008 would imply a wave of foreclosures as well, which we are not seeing, as well as other contagion risk which we are also not seeing.
