I have a writing blog of sorts [1], but nobody knows it exists. Nobody sees my posts except when I share the links to directly via other social media. Most of my posts can’t be found on google at all, even doing searches by name of the article (a few will turn up). It’s nice to have a blog but it’s really more of a diary unless you have readers. At least with substack, I get a handful here or there from the substack ecosystem, vs my custom website which got almost nothing at all and is now inactive because of that [1] https://barbariangrunge.substack.com/ https://barbariangrunge.substack.com/
