I moved from a startup with quite a few junior employees, to a more experienced team in a FAANG. One thing I noticed is that bike shedding was much more limited, and people much more pragmatic. It was quite refreshing. Maybe I'm lucky with my team dynamic, but overall I think that experienced SWEs are less likely to lose time with stupid debates and are more eager to get things done.
