This is why I love my nikon. In this day and age, it has descent sensors (it uses sony sensors). and While the glass is excellent, its a bit pricy while the price on competitors have come down. But what nikon really excells at is making a good camera. Its their focus sony - an electronics company that makes camera cannon - an imaging company that makes cameras nikon and fujifilm are the only camera makers for working class photographers that are camera makers at heart. When you pick up a nikon, all the buttons are easy to reach and the balance is perfect for holding all day. (i've heard similar things about the fujifilms) I have a z5 and aside from soms autofocus issues, it does a great job of getting out of my way when I'm trying to take a photo.
