I was similarly disappointed with its knowledge of Final Fantasy. Me: How do you get Xcalibur in the original Final Fantasy? > To obtain Xcalibur in the original Final Fantasy, the player must first complete the Waterfall Cavern and defeat the Water Fiend. Then, the player must take the Waterfall Key to the Marsh Cave and defeat the Earth Fiend. Finally, the player must travel to the Castle of Ordeals and defeat the Fire Fiend. After completing these tasks, the player can return to the Waterfall Cavern and enter the hidden room to obtain Xcalibur. Those are all locations and enemies within the game, but the steps are completely incorrect. Even where to fight the fiends is wrong! Looking at GameFAQs, there are dozens of walkthroughs for the game. It seems pretty surprising that it can be so close yet so far off.
