Where ever possible if I use an open source lib in a product I download it and store it locally (inside corp) for build servers to grab or bundle it in with the code in the product repo. There is zero reason why the build process needs to access any external domain. And if there is a new lib version or a problem/bug (depending on severity) then the product is retested with the new version before going out the door. Of course, I dont have to do web front end. That stuff just seems wrong
