When Chinese restaurant in my town closed down, I wanted to make my own Chinese spicy sour soup at home. I found a book with nothing but original Chinese soup recipes. Simplest recipe had 30 ingredients. I never heard about the first half of the ingredients and I couldn't buy anywhere most of the second half.
- personjerry 4y agoThe main components are the vinegar, chili peppers, cornstarch, broth, eggs, soy sauce, and scallions. The mysterious components like all the different mushrooms and tofus you can substitute with your fav soup components.
