We (the US) love to blame the victims. Full stop. I do support the idea that someone accused of a crime needs to be proven guilty beyond the shadow of a doubt.

We (the US) love to blame the victims. Full stop. I do support the idea that someone accused of a crime needs to be proven guilty beyond the shadow of a doubt. The nature of these crimes often results in a he said/she said scenario where the crime can't be easily proven. Only in these scenarios where the dam breaks and dozens of accusers come forth do these predators receive justice.
