I've used Memex before, and it was good, but after a while had ingested so much data that it was ba far the highest consumer of RAM on my work computer. I started toggling it off to get some performance back, but then I'd forget to turn back on when it mattered, and only discover later when something I searched for wasn't indexed. D'oh!
