Data is not information. Lots of data is worthless if you don't know what you're looking for. Perhaps we could actually do something about this if we focused strongly on falsification, but right now there's just going to be a whole lot of Wittgenstein's ruler going on; what people want to look at or see will come first with such an abundance, and there's going to need to be some kind of real filter to make it useful.
