In my experience, people who plaster 'building the future' shit on every wall aren't engineers but HR department that is happy to exploit that unique amount of energy that comes from combining twenty eyer old people with no life and vague idealistic promises.

Especially with millennials. Maybe the newest hires are mercenary, transactional zoomers and we can finally put the aspirational mission statements to bed.
