True. Amount of sheer disdain in IT management is infuriating.
- ChrisMarshallNY 4y agoThat's why it's important to cultivate managers from engineers, but that's really difficult. As an engineer that became a manager, and then went back to being an engineer, I know the process well. I was a very good manager, and I'm a very good engineer, but I love engineering, and hate management. However, there was no one else that I could trust to do the job, so I took up the mantle.
