The entire basis for human society is socialism: the cooperative, collective effort to produce food, shelter, and safety for one’s community (read: tribe, village, township, nation). No universal healthcare for you people: it would enable you to find a better job without fear of losing your benefits. No social safety nets, lest it give you the security to seek out something better. So long as all y’all refuse to work together to better everyone’s circumstances, all y’all will continue to suffer at the hands of those with the money and political power.
