I was on the “no phone by bed” train until my garage was broken into at 3am and realized I couldn’t quickly call the police.

- derwiki 4y agoI keep a baseball bat by my bed, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go looking for a fight against two intruders who are armed with who-knows-what. When the cops showed up, they said that if I had called and said "home invasion" they would have been there in a matter of minutes.
