I know I just sound old when I say this, but homes should be owned by people. Texas has a "homestead" tax exemption that saves you 2-3k a year on your primary residence. I think up that. Make it 20k a year savings... people don't need multiple houses. Companies certainly don't need to own houses. Blah blah. I just hate this. It feels like taking advantage of people, another barrier to the "American Dream" of home ownership.
