Ask HN: Which are your favourite machine learning blogs?
Hi *
While I love to read machine learning technical papers from scientific journals, I also believe that there's a lot of knowledge hidden in personal blogs. So I have been collecting them here [1] and here [2].
I would like to know which are your favourite personal blogs about machine learning, deep learning, statistics, maths, or related topics.
Thank you :)

- rg111 4y agoMy favorite in blogs is The AI Summer. The signal to noise ratio of Medium is very low, but it does show you very nice articles from time to time. I read papers, follow people on Twitter. I don't read ML blogs much.
- rsfern 4y agoCool list! My favorite ML blog is https://www.oneweirdkerneltrick.com/ https://www.oneweirdkerneltrick.com/ I really appreciate Andrew Gelman’s statmodeling blog. There’s some overlap with ML, but it’s mostly from a stats perspective https://statmodeling.stat.columbia.edu/ https://statmodeling.stat.columbia.edu/
- alexmolas 4y agoTBH I don't know how to interpret the oneweirdkerneltrick :'D
- singhrac 4y agoCan’t have a list like this and miss Eric Jang’s blog: https://evjang.com/ https://evjang.com/
- alexmolas 4y agoLooks super-cool. I don't know how I've never seen this blog, thanks for sharing :)

- sal9000 4y agoAlso Andrey Karpathy blog, http://karpathy.github.io http://karpathy.github.io.
- alexmolas 4y agoI think it's already included on my list, but yeah this is one of the greatest ML blog out there. I recommend you his videos showing how to implement ML concepts from scratch, he's a great teacher!

- alexmolas 4y agoCool course! But I was looking more for personal ML blogs tho, where people explain their particular experience with ML. The kind of things that are interesting enough to be wrote down but not scientific enough to be published in a journal.
