Dopamine detox, I'm going to stop coca cola zero, open twitter/Reddit/HN 30 times.
Avoid being exposed to a recommendation system (youtube, Netflix etc ...)
- eastbound 4y agoIt’s extremely hard to quit HN. - It’s important to keep in touch with IT news, - It trumps boredom. Boredom makes me have internal dialogue; Internal dialogue makes me angry at the social situation. I need to forget, and fortunately I don’t enjoy alcohol, so I indulge myself with news.
- onion2k 4y agoIt’s extremely hard to quit HN. Quitting HN is easy. I've done it loads of times.
