In Finland, NYE the single evening of the year on which launching personal fireworks is allowed. I'll probably go out for a walk and try to take some pictures of people doing questionable things. The city is also putting on a concert and fireworks show I plan to watch. However, the weather today has been November-levels of disappointment inducing and the nice snow from early December is melted. :< I love the tradition of fireworks on New Years, as long as people are sensible about it. I don't appreciate them going off right off my balcony. I'd love to spend another New Years in Reykjavik someday. I don't think I've ever seen fireworks like that anywhere else.
