We had constant battles with my girlfriend over the dishes. We bought a used, small dishwasher. All problematics instantly went away. I like loading and unloading the dishwasher. I like washing dishes by hand (as many comments point out here, it's something which can be enjoyed), but I just don't like spending too much time doing it. So, my answer is: The Dishwasher.
