Zeiss 20x60s Review (2021)
- omoikane 4y agoThis review includes a field test of these binoculars during December 2022, despite the "(2021)" title. Maybe it's a recent update?
- akiselev 4y agoPriced at $9,999, who actually buys these? Spec ops snipper spotters who can’t afford to run out of battery using Canon’s IS? Mechanical binocular enthusiasts like with mechanical watches? Professional astrophotographers? It seems all the prosumer users like birdwatching superfans would just go for the much more accessible Canon IS binoculars. The fact that they’re such old designs that no one has ever copied makes it sound like Zeiss keeps it around as a vanity product.
- rurban 4y agoMilitary for example. And the Canon IS the opposite of being accessible, by requiring batteries.

- tigershark 4y agoIt’s not particularly indicated for serious deep sky astronomy given the small exit pupil of just 3mm. The eye pupil is easily double than that in the dark. I think that the 8x56 is much better for that given the 7mm exit pupil.
