As China pushes its digital currency plans, the US falls behind
- vjulian 4y agoQuite a large and important topic, but is this a worthwhile article to center discussion upon? The author of this article, if you were to look him up (on LinkedIn, as I did), has no particular background or connection to finance, monetary policy, geopolitics, or international trade. Likely, he referred to various online sources, and he wrote what is not dissimilar to a report that a schoolteacher might assign as homework (“nice work, Lucas, though points off for not including a bibliography”). From an editorial perspective it probably made sense to publish, for whatever reasons related to the publication strategy. Does the Computerworld brand somehow lend credibility?
