Ehh, I feel like needing to “win” every “negotiation” is its own kind of emotional neediness. I feel like most negotiations should be easy because both sides are going to gain. (That’s why transactions happen in the first place.) Sure you don’t want one side to take advantage of the other, but there’s a usually a range of OK outcomes between those extremes.
