100 links per chain, 10 links per furlong, 8 furlongs per mile. 1 acre = 1 chain x 1 furlong
- nashashmi 4y agoI took surveying class. And while I am familiar with the terms of links, chain, and furlong, I have never used it in studies or practice (between 2005 and now).
