It all depends on the degree of customization you do on your products, but if my team or I had to code all the auth or UI components by hand, I would quit the profession. I speak from experience when I say that if there's something I like less than customizing MaterialUI component behavior it's working with a mangled custom-made replacement with worse semantics and functionality.
