It's very dangerous to make AIs like this hard-left through training. Once you train them that it's OK to lie, you've crossed a boundary.
- crawfordcomeaux 4y agoIt is literally OK to lie and sometimes necessary. Training an AI otherwise would be to lie to an AI, which is a form of training that eventually leads to the truth and also distrust. Time to stop trying to control how people think. Meeting and denying needs with consent and an awareness of needs allows for nuance, instead of moralistic black-and-white thinking.
