As somebody who's just made the switch from Plex to Jellyfin, I would highly recommend it. Turned out to be barely any effort, it just works with minimal configuration! It feels much nicer to have a system that is designed to serve your needs instead of some monetization goals; where you don't constantly have to disable the latest junk they added. It's also great in how it's open source and actively supports plugins - I use one to auto-delete TV shows after watching to save disk space. The one thing I'd recommend is the Ultrachromic skin [0].
