It feels like a million years away that we saw the rx580 launch. April 2017, a new "flagship", less ambitious than previous chips, totally massacred by nvidia in raw performance, but super accessibly priced, quite capable, & way better flow control.
Nothing has been as in reach since & it's no wonder sales keep sliding. Especially post the cryptomining insanity.
