If you’re going to self host I would look at using Astro. It’s an SSG that allows you to build components in all of the most common JS frameworks including using multiple different frameworks in the same app if you wanted to. This way you can build your blog as normal but if at a later date you want to expand it into something bigger you don’t have to rewrite everything from scratch as you’ve already got all your components in whatever framework you want to use. https://astro.build/ https://astro.build/
