If you are at all handy this is probably a 30 minute job, it involves cutting a single hole for the propane tank connection and otherwise can be done with a screwdriver. It's been reliable for me going on 4 years now - although I only really have run the generator for maybe 100 total hours since then. I haven't looked for some time, but there are also other kits on the market. I those these guys due to reputation on forums, and how clean it is to install.
