- saiya-jin 4y agoThis is true but short-sighted approach IMHO. In age when China will be a close match to US in superpower-related terms (even if its less efficient they have sheer numbers on their side), US would be more than wise to make true proper long lasting friends rather then bullying everybody else to its whims. Or it might find itself more and more lonely and less relevant globally. It takes just few steps to make big dent in that - international payment systems, oil cartels, military bases in Africa, military equipment +-on par with west etc.
