A checkerboard pattern of inner ear cells enables us to hear
- latchkey 4y agoAlignment of cells allows us to see clearly as well. Anyone who's had PRK done has gone through this.

- latchkey 4y agoAs it was explained to me, the cells that are removed regenerate very quickly, but they do so kind of haphazardly, which causes the blurry vision. Over time, they magically align themselves and your vision becomes clear again. This is why lasik is more immediate, the cells aren't removed, a flap is created and then put back. Not everyone, including myself, qualifies for lasik due to the shape of our eyes.
