Tesla only has impressive margins compared to non-luxury vehicles...but all Teslas are sold at luxury prices. It's bizarre that people think that having a larger margin per car compared to Toyota or GM means something, when Toyota, GM, and Ford's per-unit margins are dragged down by the millions of cheapo cars they sell overseas, and the money they spend on quality control that Tesla doesn't. Ford, GM, and Toyota absolutely blow Tesla's margins out of the waters with the margins they make on their trucks.
