I believe "Full self drive" is going to be seen as a historical mistake for Tesla, it's a distraction from their core mission. Imagine if they were spending that time and money on developing a smaller cheaper car for the masses, getting more industrial vehicles out (god know why they have not done a traditional Van?). That's is the growth that is needed to justify their market cap. Not some fancy thing that's not relevant or of interest to 90% of the market.
