BP criticised over plan to spend billions more on fossil fuels than green energy
- silicaroach 4y agoRead Smil's book "How the World Really Works" The commitment to fossil fuels is a) far greater than you can imagine and b) will not change anywhere in the near future. Bottom line: 'fossil' fuels are second only to nuclear energy in the amount of energy by volume. Nothing else is close. And we need vast amounts of energy just to grow enough to feed this planet's population let alone distribute it to where it needs to go. So yeah, BP has got it right.
- hackrnusr 4y agoIf it translates into a cheaper gallon of gas at the pump, good for BP! Some of us could use the extra money in the grocery store thanks to Biden's inflation.
