“a surprisingly large number” of my compatriots can’t even locate themselves on a map, let alone understand France’s contribution to the war of independence or any connection thereof to current politics. You are charging at windmills, I’m afraid.
- jacquesm 4y agoI have no illusion at being able to make a difference on this. But it is so irritating when Congress people go on about 'freedom fries' and 'French cowardice', 'surrender monkeys' etc. And I'm not even French...
- BuyMyBitcoins 4y agoOn the bright side that happened during a limited window in time in the early to mid 2000’s. It certainly hasn’t persisted and plenty of people mocked it back in the day as well.
