Public land must be made accessible to the public. And the owners of the private land must maintain the public access road.

- ghaff 4y agoIf there's a public right of way across my land, I don't see why I would have to pay to maintain it. Doesn't apply in coastal California of course but I'm certainly not going to plow public access in the winter to a location that I don't otherwise need access to.
