- dragonwriter 4y agoIn America, we tend to have strict liability for product defects across the chain of commerce. At least in California, that is established to include Amazon for Marketplace products, at least those that are FBA. Bolger v. Amazon, 53 Cal. App. 5th 431 (2020). EDIT: Actually, that also applies to non-FBA, as well; Loomis v. Amazon, 63 Cal.App. 5th 466 (2021).
